Video Project 2016
Jake and Eno Take the Podium
Reflection:
With this being the third video that Henry Isenberg and I produced, we have learned to work well with each other due to the fact that we have the same sense of humor. In this video if you did not understand the humor content associated with the stunts, we were hoping to have portrayed a spoof of what skiing is. Along with this, we wanted to take skiing and make it accessible anywhere, in attempt to downgrade the actual sport of skiing. Of course, we were being very sarcastic by making fun of the sport. I hope this cleared up any confusion for about the content of this video. Overall, this was a great experience and I learned a lot about re shooting scenes and different camera angles. Most of all though I started to develop a good sense of how to have great lighting in the video shots. It was great working with new people and I am proud to be apart of this video because it reflects the extent of my humor.
Self Portrait Project
Why is it important to understand the intentions behind an artwork? A self-portrait in particular?
It is important to understand the intentions behind art work and self portrait because art work can tell a lot about something. In particular, a self portrait can have a number of different characteristics that describe the artist weather it be the personality of the artist or what the artist likes to do. It can tell different emotions behind art work and has the potential to tell a story about someone.
What problem solving skills are employed in making visual reflections of self?
The problem solving skills that are employed with making self reflections are the deciding what you want people to think of you and how you want people to view your physical self. There are also a number of problem solving skills that are associated with creating it in photoshop. You want to design the art work in a way that portrays something that you love and it may be hard to do that in one picture so you can bring multiple images together in order to create a general beautiful portrait that describes you.

Teacher Creature Project
I have done the teacher creature project before and had learned a variety of different tools on photoshop. I thought that I would have an easy time with photoshop because I had already used it but as soon as I started the first picture I knew that I had forgotten a lot of the skills. I thought the project was a great way for me to refresh my skills and even pick up on different tools used in photoshop. I really enjoyed putting together a picture of Roxy and Donald Trump together.
Independent Art Project
This video was created by three Animas High School students that were devoted to showcasing the amazing talents and strengths of Reed Frey. We used this documentary to creatively demonstrate humor through ridiculous, unthinkable spoof scenes.
How to Tame the Perfect Body by Reed Frey:
Project Reflection
Throughout the course of my independent art project, I developed many great tools and skills that are crucial to video production. As the director/filmer of the video I learned how to creatively incorporate humor into a way that flowed throughout the video very smoothy. I learned how to set up different angles with the camera to display the course of the video and each scene in the best possible way. We used a wide variety of action shots and I was able to showcase humor with the action shots to make the documentary unique and funny to everyone. With little practice I was also introduced into the editing side of the video. I learned how to incorporate music into the scenes and accurately make it flow with the emotion of the video. While doing this, I also developed an understanding of how to cut scenes and properly place them throughout the video.
